Mary A. Pompa-Gonzalez, BSc, is an accomplished administrative professional and leader with over 25 years of experience providing high-level operational and administrative support across healthcare, ministry, municipal government, and corporate environments. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling with a minor in Church Ministry from Liberty University. She currently serves as a Senior Office Assistant at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Memory & Aging Center (MAC), where she provides comprehensive administrative support to Dr. Gladys Maestre and contributes to the Center’s clinical, research, and outreach activities. In addition to her professional role, Mary has been involved in community and church leadership, serving in roles such as ministry director, facilitator, and outreach leader. These experiences reflect her longstanding commitment to service, leadership, and community engagement. Through her work, Mary supports the vision and mission of UTRGV MAC by supporting the initiatives led by Dr. Gladys Maestre that advance Alzheimer's research, education, and community impact.
