Hi my name is Hennessy Rodriguez Perez and I am a student intern at the Memory and Aging Center. Currently, I am working on developing my project for my research grant this summer based on what aspects or characteristics of pathogenic bacteria contribute to antibiotic susceptibility in the human body and starting my undergraduate degree. I plan to incorporate principal initiatives from my previous studied, including research on antibiotic susceptibility in ocean-derived bacteria and the effects of bacteria on yeast cells, which serve as a model for cells in the human body.
